The Santos Travel Lite has been our loyal friend since the beginning of our bicycle touring adventure; more than 20.000 kilometers ago. We’ve abused ‘Wilson’ and ‘Storm’ badly! But, the Santos bicycles didn’t even blink! They are strong, stiff and comfortable and MAINTENANCE FREE. Watch this video to see where the Travel Lites have been and what they had to endure.

Hi El & El, Nice clip and excellent promotion for Santos :) I'm looking into replacing my own 10 year old Santos Travelmaster for a Rohloff powered Santos. Could you explain why you chose the Travel lite over the Travelmaster ? Curious to hear. Enjoy your travels, Koen

Hi Koen, Thanks for your positive comment! We both have a Travelmaster 2.6 with Rohloff and belt, an excellent bicycle. But, just before we left Robbert asked us for a long distance user review for the Travel Lites, since nobody ever cycled on it on a trip like ours. We both have really come to like the driving capabilities of this 29-er and I don't know if I will ever return to a 26 inch actually. The pros for us: a 29-er rolls easier on both unpaved and paved roads and we feel that it takes less energy. But, I suggest to just take a few test rides on both bicycles and see for yourself which is more comfortable for you. And if you do so, put some panniers on the bikes, because that will be the way you are gonna use it. Een mooie promotiefilm voor de Santos fiets, maar jullie zelf verslaan de fietsen, hoor! Knappe prestatie en goed om te lezen op welke manier jullie ervan genieten. Ik heb zelf een Santos Travelmaster, 9600 km gefietst én ik noem hem mijn Rolls Royce
